A key focus of the visit was the Raichur Rural Drinking Water Scheme, one of India’s largest water supply initiatives. Located in Raichur district, Karnataka, an area severely affected by water scarcity, the project is designed to deliver clean drinking water to 1.7 million people. The scheme includes a 160 million liters-per-day water treatment capacity and a 4,000 km distribution network, ensuring sustainable and reliable access to safe drinking water.

Based in London, Ashot brings extensive expertise in financial strategy, capital structuring, and business growth. His background in investment and financial management will play a key role in optimizing VCE’s financial performance, exploring equity and debt opportunities and expanding global operations, and ensuring efficient capital allocation.

Ashot is a seasoned finance executive with over 30 years of experience in investment, M&A, and strategic leadership. He has led cross-border deals at Brunel Capital and served as CFO at UJET S.A., driving growth and innovation. Ashot holds an Executive MBA from London Business School and a Master’s in Computer Hardware Engineering.

With nearly 20 years of experience in international management, business development, and project finance, Alon leads VCE with a vision for sustainable infrastructure. Previously, he held senior roles at Tahal Group and Baran Group, managing global operations and large-scale projects. Alon is a qualified lawyer with an MA in International Business Transactions from the London School of Economics.
Chief Engineer
Amos brings 25 years of expertise in design and project management for water and environmental engineering. Prior to VCE, he held senior positions at Mekorot and SBI E&M, managing wastewater treatment plant designs and large-scale water projects. Amos holds an MBA and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Co-Founder
Amit combines entrepreneurial and business development experience to drive VCE’s global projects. He has initiated large-scale infrastructure ventures across developing markets and specializes in managing complex operations. Amit holds a BA in Economics, Management, and Aviation from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Managing Director, India
With over 35 years of experience in infrastructure management, Vidya has led major water and waste-to-energy projects in India and Southeast Asia. Previously, he served as CEO at Essel Infraprojects and held leadership roles at Suez Environnement and Degremont. Vidya holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering and has studied Strategic Leadership at Oxford University.
Environmental & Social Impact Head
Shweta leads VCE’s ESG and impact initiatives, aligning projects with regional SDGs. With a decade of experience in climate change consulting, she has managed clean energy and watershed projects at PwC and grassroots organizations. Shweta holds a BE in Environmental Engineering and an MSc in Environmental Policy from the London School of Economics.

Arik specializes in scaling disruptive technologies for emerging markets, with over a decade of experience in business development across India and beyond. He focuses on product adaptation and go-to-market strategies for climate-related technologies. Tamar designs and oversees VCE’s ESG and impact strategies, leveraging over a decade of experience in social and environmental management. She collaborates with portfolio companies to enhance impact performance and manage ESG assessments. Tamar holds a BA in Urban & Regional Planning and an MSc in Environmental Studies from Tel Aviv University.
