Raichur district, India
In one of India's 100 most undeveloped districts affected by severe water crisis, VCE is establishing, operating and maintaining one of the largest water supply schemes in the country. Including creating an 160 million liters-per-day water treatment capacity andLocation ~4000Km of distribution network, this scheme will provide drinking water to a staggering ~1.7 million people.
Chiriqui province, Panama
For addressing the critical need of improving water infrastructure in rural parts of Panama, VCE supported by the IDB (Inter-American-Development Bank) were tasked by the Panama National WAter Carrier (the IDAADN) to rehabilitate, operate and maintain 8 WTP’s (Water Treatment Plants) serving approximately 152,000 residents.
Jamkhandi District, Karnataka, India
To address the critical need for safe drinking water in rural Jamkhandi, India, a 20 MLD potable water supply system is being established, including intake, water treatment, and distribution to 401 villages. Once completed, this project will serve approximately 403,000 residents, improving water access and reducing reliance on unsustainable groundwater sources.

A key focus of the visit was the Raichur Rural Drinking Water Scheme, one of India’s largest water supply initiatives. Located in Raichur district, Karnataka, an area severely affected by water scarcity, the project is designed to deliver clean drinking water to 1.7 million people. The scheme includes a 160 million liters-per-day water treatment capacity and a 4,000 km distribution network, ensuring sustainable and reliable access to safe drinking water.
